Well, it's finally the last day of the week, woohoo. LOL.
And tmr, i'll b flying off the Hong Kong for holiday. Song-bo. Although, that'll eat into some of my leave. Which any NSman would tell you is nv enough. 14 days per year? WTF? LL suck thumb. HAHA.

Hmm, interestingly enough today, on the new reported that a 136kg woman sat on her smaller sized bf, 54.4kg, and killed him.

Fitness Fit...

Fitness Fit, my new self training regime.
It's name was partly inspired by Chang Peng.
He asked my why i was swimming so much lately, and i told him to keep fit la.
And he was like "Siao, keeping FIT la."
Then I said "Of course la, Fitness Fit la."
And thats how the name came abt.
Haha.

Anws, this is what i'm planning on doing:
Swimming on Mon, Wed and Fri. (10 Laps)
Gym on Tues and Thurs. (3 Muscle grps each day)

Guess it's kinda of funny. That only now, when i've entered army, and have to work each and every weekday, then do I want to start exercising seriously. Before this, it was always on and off. Maybe, it's because everyone else is going through BMT and whatever unit training, while i'm slacking off and rotting in the office. And i know that alot of my friends all want to get out of BMT and such, to do a 8am - 530pm job like mine. But it kinda makes me feel so weak and sick. Haha.

Arh well. Let's take it one step at a time. Slowly self train myself to become fitter and stronger. LOL.

Saturday Night Out

21st November 09, the first gathering after entering army.

We, Asri, Liang, Nat and I, meet up at cityhall at 4pm. While not really 4, you know we always arrive late (except for Nat). But anyhow, after gathering up, we headed down to pernisular to get Asri's new shoes. Hurhur, for a man in crutches, it seem really ironic that he was the one then needed new shoes. Next up, we went down to Funan, browsed thru all the IT stuff.

Then around 6, we decided to head for dinner at Hanabi, Japanese Ala-carte buffet.

Oh... It was heaven, food food food. Haha.

I swear, we sat there all the way till 830 or 9pm, chatting, luaghing and eating and eating.

Unagi sushi~ <--- my food of choice. hehe.

And of course our king of buffet goes toooooo.... Ah Liang Zhai... LOL.

Unfortunately, i forgot to start snapping away. Only realised it, after walking back to cityhall mrt, to go to our next destination, Rochor Original Beancurd shop. As quoted from Liang, "No matter how full I am arh, always got room for ice cream."

Well, not ice cream but beancurd this time.

Walking back to the MRT, You can't see the words but it says "Merry Christmas", Christmas Trees.

Rochor Original Beancurd =), OMG WTF. freaking packed... so...

so... we went to the one next door instead, haha... what to do faces...

And i forgot about taking photos while we were eating beancurd, again... ZZZ.

Something is seriously wrong with my memory...

School of the arts, and well...

Yup yup, and for our last destination for the night, excluding home, was starbucks at the Cathey. There we meet up with Guan and Grace, G&G. LOL.
Got ourselfs come drinks but i posed them some coin puzzles.

We sat there, chit chatted about whatever we thought of and racked they brains over how to complete the puzzles, for about an hour? or so, before heading back home, hoping we didnt miss the last bus.

Drinks and food, ok sweets...

Omg, after entering army, the days have seemed to have grown longer n longer...

Sighs, 2 years of my life... LOL

Why is it then when we look back, time always seems to fly past so fast. But when we look forward, times seems to become a long and hideous drag.

How i wish i could relive my secondary or poly days man. All those carefree, talk cock, sing song, play mahjong days. And as Shengle would have sung it - "Na si wa wo ji ba ban...".

Well, can complain so much, it'll make me grow old faster. Narh.. just joking, i guess i should consider myself lucky in the sense that i don't have to stay-in, 8-5 job, and no physical exercise or duties to perform. Although i could do with the exercise... Haha.

Lolz.. It's been quite awhile since i last blogged, so i decided to start blogging again.
During the labour day break, the park ppl had planned to go n stay at Andreas house. Saddly even not may ppl could make it for various reason. Sianx... But well, i guess it was ok, had fun do shit tgt.. LOL...

Coming back from the chalet i got the flu's... OMG swine flu, just kidding... i havent come into contact with any1 out of the country... i probably got it from my dad, he will coughing n everything but i went to the chalet... haha...
It sucks to be sick; fever, headache n running nose... zzz...

Mel's B.day celebration

Ok... So on Saturaday, we had planned to celebrate Mel's bday at Kenny Rogers @ suntec...

So what happened that day (for me):
- Drove down to IMM to meet Jasmine, she got a cake and a necklace and i got flowers for Mel.
- Headed down to suntec where we met up with Guan who was enquiring the price for a golf club. And put the cake at Kenny Rogers.
- Got Mel to arrive early, asked her to go in first under a reservation.
- Jasmine pulled a sneaky, evil prank on Mel, told her she wasn't coming the day b4. So only Guan and I entered.
- Gave Mel her presents, including Jas's. (Damn she didn't seemed shocked at all. Lolz.)
- Jas waiting outside for Leonard who was picking up Lynette.
- Leonard got lost on his way down, drove all the way to town and back up to suntec. (Lolz. If it was me, i probably would hv done worse without a got wingman/navigator.)
- Jas waited abt an hour and a half b4 giving up and heading into Kenny Rogers to surprise Mel.
- Leonard and Lynette arrived after awhile, but leonard had to leave bcuz he had other stuff to attend to.
- We were under billed (woo hoo~!) $13, when the meal itself cost $42... [only charged us for drinks.. lolz]
- Sent every1 home, got lost along the way, went 1 big round here and there.

Haha... Great day... Did alot of catching with with old friends (although i was totally blank when every1 was talking about other friends [me and my bad memory.. lolz]. And yeah, we shld plan for another outing and get more to attend this time around.

Ya... Today started off with me waking up at 12noon... Wahaha... Sleep in like a pig... Lolz...

Then went to school for Peter Liang's remedia lessons... He touched on the calculations for hydraulic systems and air-cycle systems.
Ok, well, that's actually not the point I was intending. The point is during he's break and after his lesson, I performed magic to some of my friends. And my hands started shaking/shivering... Lolz... Guess, I'm still afraid I might screw up/lack in confidence in my skills. Also, I need to learn how to perform better, as in getting the audience to be more captivated rather then staring died at my hands/cards... So ya, more to learn and improve on there...

After lessons, a group of us, 7 to be exact (Asri, Gerald, Jia Lin, Kok Long, Liang, Nat and I), went to eat Hanabi, located at Odeon Tower (next to Bras Basah/opps Raffles Hotel)... Hanabi is a Japanese Ala-cart buffet... I would say that it has a wide variety of food to choose from, and a nice ambience to just dine in and chill... The only problem with Hanabi's variety was that it didnt have Unagi by itself, it came together with rice, and if theres leftovers, the management may decide to charge you $5 per 500g... -.-" *sighs*... Y can't they just give me unagi~! Lolz... So sad for me and Kok Long... Haha... We sat there from like what? 6+/7 all the way to 9.30? haha... "Any last orders, Sir?" Lolz... But it great just sitting there and talking random stuff, China trip stuff, attachment stuff, scary movies, "dogs", etc... Haha...

Then after Hanabi, we went over to the Raffle's Hotel's Long Bar, to drink and chill... The band was there playing/singing already... We sat there, ordered our drinks, Virgin Sling (Kok Long), Long Island Tea (Jia Lin), Manhattan (Asri), Screwdriver (Liang) and Black Russian (me)... And we started eating the free flow of peanuts and throwing it at each other... Especially Gerald... Lolz... It's was funny when one of the band members come and threw a whole bunch of peanuts on our table during one of their breaks... All of us we like stun, suddenly some1 go throw peanuts at us.. Lolz... Then he came and asked Jia Lin if any1 of us bullied her, and Kok Long pointed and me... Haha.. And he went "Let's go outside and talk" in hokkien... LMAO... It was damn funnny... And right before we left, we (excluding Jia Lin, Nat and Gerald) all "gan" one cup of Jack Daniels (for Liang it was white label)... Haha...

It was great.. just chilling, even though exams are in a week.. HAHA... U work hard, U play hard... =P not that i work that hard... lolz..

Woo... Today's the first time i went to use the gym at my new condo...
Haha.. At first I thought the gym was closed, cause i couldn't open the door. But apparently only 1 door was unlock, and somehow when i pushed on it the first time, it didn't open... Zzz...
Thankfully there was some nice old uncle that told me it was open... =) Lolz...

Well... Actually all i did was the treadmill and some shoulder exercise... Haha...
I ran like 1.8km in 20 mins... Omg absolutely pathetic.. I didnt know the treadmill was going to go so slow...
I thought maybe the speed would slowly increase, it did, but not much... So i up the speed manually..
Unfortunately that was already like 10mins into the run... Zzz...
Got to do more running to train up for NS... Haha...

After gyming, i was wondering around, looking for a locker, so i could go swimming. But i couldn't find 1... Where the hell am I suppose to put my personal stuff n belongings, like my house key, when i go swimming??
Lol... Kinda pissed off at that... Or maybe I'm just blind and couldn't find a locker... Hmm..

Anyways... I explored the public toilets, and to my amazement, they had a jacuzi and a suana in the toilet...
WTF? Lolz... The suana was kinda small... Only could accomendate like 4 pax... But a suana? Haha...
Seriously unexpected...

Well... In the end, i didnt go and swim.. Mayb i'll do it next time... Haha.. I still need a proper swimming attire... Lolz...

He was properably joking about it, but it got me thinking about what people really hated about this world or their lives? The inequality or unfairness?

Shifting House

Yeah... I finally shifted house, although it only a stone stroll away from the previous house... lolz..
God, moving house is really tiresome and tedious... The amount of stuff we had to move over to the new place... Personally, i only had like 4+ boxes to move... My sister had like tons and tons... Gals... tsk tsk... ahaha...

In the further, remind me to get a good place to settle in and nv to move out again... unless i earn a couple of million after selling n buying a new place... lolz...

Moving house is like, you got to pack our stuff, shift ur stuff and furniture, arrange ur stuff, then go back to the old place and clean the place up. then u realize u got even more stuff to move... long list of stuff... complications here and there... lolz...

Conversion Disorder/Hyestria

In one of the episodes in "House M.D" [doctor drama], i found one interesting symptom.
It's called "Conversion Disorder" or otherwise also know as a form of hyestria.

What's so peculiar abt this symptom [from what i have read and understood] is that it's a neurological symptom, and it develops when a person has a critical psychological conflict or stress. When Conversion Disorder sets in, the person may start to have unexplainable alteration or loss of a physical function. Conversion symptoms are presumed to result from an unconscious process. Conversion symptoms are not considered to be under voluntary control, and, should not be explained by any physical disorder or known pathological mechanism.

Symptoms include:
- Sensory
- Motor
- Visceral

There's really more to this symptom, but i'll let you read it by urself if u want [links are below, or just google "conversion disorder" =) ]. What i really find interesting, is that this symptom is actually your mind playing a "trick" on you, making you believe something which otherwise would not be true. Doesn't this just show us how powerful our unconscious mind/brain really is, making something that's not real into reality.

How cool can that be.... lolz...

Love & Supernaturals

I have just recently discovered that there is a similarity between "Love" and "Supernaturals" [i.e ghost, aliens, twilight.. i mean werewolfs, etc.]

The similarity is that both phenomenes are unexplainable. Oh yes, people might say that they fall in love because of their raging hormones in their bodies or that the particular person has some attributes which they like. But if that were really the cause, y did the hormones make u love that particular person instead of any1 else? An attribute? Kindness? Wealth? Looks? So does that mean that if another person were to have more of that attribute, then u would love him/her instead?

Maybe there really is no reason/explaination behind love. Or maybe there is, and it's the same very reason y relationship fall & people divorce.

Who really knows? [ pls dun tell me god, cuz i dun believe. =) lolz ]
Mayb, when we can explain supernatural phenomenes, then can we truely understand the reason behind love.

firstly, HF "common test" is over~! lolz... me, teck huat and jonas were all discussing the mcq qns once the test started... haha and ykb didnt even say anything abt it... as expect of him anws.. lolz...

secondly, common test is coming up next week and i havent even started studying yet~... OK, i dun reali study much anws, but i have a bad feeling abt this sem, ASAS2 and DDACP are killers + APS which i havent even been listening in class...

Haiz, i shld reali stop playing psp in class... as liang would always say to me when i play "DM, u nid to control uself b4 u can control ur psp"... lolz.. wise advice, but its so boring to continuously listen to peter liang talk for 3 hours straight... arghs~!

Yup yup, my sis finally celebrated her marriage with both a chruch wedding and tradition chinese restaraunt dinner event... haha... it was funny when "now-her-husband" came to get her on the first day... they had to do so many various task b4 getting into the house... haha... Eg. do a geass lightning dance, eat/drink some prepared sour, sweet and hot food and say "i love u" in 7 different languages... no dialects mind u..

oouch... 7 different languages... and my chinese is horrible as it is... lolz... *blank~*

Hmm... well, on the day we were suppose to go back to c miss chee, we instead because of her lack of time, went to watch a movie "body of lies" and then for dinner.. that was the first time i drove "alone" without the help of my father... got the help of guan and kok long for directions instead... hehe... started the day off with guan coming over to my hse then picked up nat and ws at clementi then headed to school... AND WE WERE LATE... thanks to WS.. tsk tsk... jkjk... lolz...

anws, body of lies, was quiet nice. a typical spy thriller show, quiet a hafty amount of action but lacked suspense...

N omg... SDC final exam is nxt wk... wtf?

Anws.. yesterday, we [liang, yan zhi, me and some other ppl] played baseball... haha..
well ok, not reali play baseball but throwing n catching at the field behind blk 50.
the field was actually booked by the archery club [*coughs* some ppl nv go self-training arh *coughs*]
lolz... i alway seem to throw to high a ball where else liang throws low balls. haha.

well. nothing reali much to write abt. hopefully this sem isnt as boring as some of the others.
n hopefully my SDC exam doesnt screw up. hehe.

Back in Singapore!

Yeah man...
We r back in Singapore after the 6 weeks in the land of the dragon.
Yeah, it was really a great experience having been to China. I mean, we got to see and do so many things there; Three Gorges Dam, taste smelly tufo [omg, that was bad, but a new experience as LYH would put it], climb to one of the peaks of Wudang mountain [that was one heck of a climb guys but we made it :) ], experience drastic weather/temperature change overnight and we even tasted lovely melamine [arghs... kidney stones XD].

It was so fun, but unfortunately the 6 weeks have come to and end. I wouldn't have minded another 2 weeks, but well, it isn't up to me to decide. As Nat said, it really got us to be more independent; washing our own clothes, getting all our meals, managing our money/expenses, etc. And yes, my Chinese is as bad as yours Nat.
Haha...

Now that we back to Singapore, we can take a break. NO, wait a minute, we still got to chiong finish our tutorials. report and presentation. By thats done, it the start of the new semester... Damn~!
No time to waste, Let's get started~~! [surprising for me to say that... hmm]

Warh... today was damn funny la...
I was standing at the bus 5 queue as usually, then kok long came up to mi and said "eh... i tink some1 following mi leh." i turned ard n saw his weird look woman. chinese, to me looked abit whacko. then i turned back n said "u hair very short arh" (cuz kok long jux got his hair cut yesterday) lolz...

Then kok long said lets go to the back of the queue, but the woman kept following him. then he came back to mi, cuz i didnt move yet. N the woman followed him back. LMAO... Kok long's hair cut must have had some fatal attraction curse... lolz...

Anws, kok long went as ask the woman if she had any problem and y she was following him. N obviously, she denied tat fact and said she was waiting for the bus. -.-"... so we started walking ard n she continued to follow... kok long got du lan and warned her tat he'll call the police... but to no anvil, she still followed him.. STALKER~! haha... so i told kok long in chinese "if u wan to call, then now is the time." n so he did...

police came down in lyk 5 mins n we explained the situation to the officers, 1 male 1 female.
this is where it got even funnier... when the female officer went to question her, she started screaming (i got a shock man..), saying "get away from mi", "take off ur clothes n go changi airport" (-.-??), "i'm lee hsien long's wife", "(to the male officer) u follow mi to cityhall", etc.... lolz...
the police call more backup, lolz. then the police ask us to stay away from the woman, so we kept circling ard the police officers. lolz.. then when the backup arrived, we were ask to leave. n when we did, they grabbed her, cruffed her and put her in the police vehicle... lolz...

damn... i wanted to c a take down man... something more lyk a spear tackle, or WWE moves - big boot, ppls elbow n such... dang... oh well... it was a experience i nv thought i would experience... so ya... THX KOK LONG... haha... jkjk... as long as we dun c her again can liao... or any other mad person... lolz...

NAPFA / Dark Knight

Yesterday was NAPFA day... lolz...
We were spilt into grps according to first come first serve basis... N the person in-charge of recording the results was a damn funny, and cheater person?? lolz... he helped us push up our scores... LMAO... help mi push my standing broad jump from a 210 odd to a 228? lolz... But unfortunately he couldnt help with the 2.4 run... damn... i was like 16 secs off from a D and a silver... shit... lolz... anws... this will b a benchmark.. more training... (tatz if i dun slack off.. lolz XD)

Anws, after tat, we were all poofed out... and we went to change n all... me and nat sat at canteen 2 waiting for guan to finish his gym (lyk wtf, we jux had napfa and he still went gym... inhuman.. lolz). while waiting we met wif jialin... asked her if she wanted to join us for dinner and she was ok wif it... lolz...
n we waited there for lyk an hour, n guan still wasnt done yet... lolz... so we went atrium, withdraw money n use toilet then guan joined us...

We went down to cityhall, rockey masters, to have dinner.. by then it was 930... we wanted to have pizza but they said the oven closed alrdy... damn... in the end had pasta... then went over to mac and got myself a mchicken... lolz... headed down to marina to catch a 1120 batman, the dark knight, movie.. lolz...
called mel along to, but she was tired from playing wif her cousins... lolz

The movie was not bad... better than the firz 1, at least tatz wat i felt... unfortunately the action was to fast to see anything... or mayb it was because we sat at the first row at the corner... haha... the movie was 2hours 30mins long... wtf... by the time it ended it was 2am... lolz... well at least it was worth it... not bad...

Passed mi TP... 16 points... lolz... 4 more n i would hv failed... haha...
well, at least i passed, n dun hv to go back n take another round... woots~!
my main mistakes were forgeting to check blind spots and using wrong gear to go down slope... the TP officer was like "u going down slope should change to 4th gear wat, cuz ur car is picking up spd.." and i was like "ok.. mmm...".
hehe...

After passing, had to go n watch the road safety vid and apply for photocard license...
it took awhile, but well worth the wait... lolz
Then went down to clementi to meet Yang, to hv lunch (it was 4 by then - late lunch) and buy cake for andreas.
well, actually the cake is not onli to celebrate andreas bday but also siewhoon and an-nings (and yang too, but he refused... zzz...) - cuz i forgot their bdays and it had alrdy passed n i didnt say a thing... i feel so bad la... XD lolz...
Anws, me and yang scammed them in coming out to celebrate andreas bday... N we got 3 long candles, 1 for each of them... haha... and they were like "wat?? y do i have to blow..." lolz...
Well... it didnt seem to turn off the way i had imagined... n yang said i was cheap... 1 cake for 3 ppl... lolz... (okok... i get it, i'll get 1 for each of u... LOLZ...)
We played soccer from 6 to 7 b4 cutting the cake, and the gals were lyk sitting there doing nothing... so sad la... (sry sry for making u wait there, but andreas didnt wan to cut it until lyk 7... lolz)

Yeah... Today i went for my driving revision lesson to prepare myself for my driving Traffic Police (TP) test. It's been like a month since i last drove, but i didn't seem to have lost my touch, haha.

My instructor was quite funny this time ard. He asked me if it was my first driving test, and i was like "no". then he said what happen, and i said "Gabra la... Nervous --> Gabra --> Give up --> Fail"... and my instructor was like "tsk tsk... see la give up... shldnt give up".

Then we went and drove ard, and he was pointing out my mistakes like fail to signal early, nv check blind spot and all. then suddenly he say "u drive like a qualified driver."

and i was like shocked, wtf... u jux pointed out my mistake like a second ago and now u say i drive well...
so i said "no la, where got, i keep making mistakes la"

and he said "no la... as in.... have u drived outside before??"... WTF~! haha... and i said " i dun do illegal things like tat..." XD
HAHA

anws... later on he also said i drove overconfidently, lolz... and when we went back to drive in the circuit, he started tricking me and all, asking me to turn right into a one way street. Then purposely ask me do vertical parking but called it horizontial park... Lolz... and at the end of the lesson he was like let me do the vertical parking... and he reversed and turned into the lot damn freaking fast... he trying initial D arh, drifting... lolz...
